Genclis SAS is a CRO mainly working on food samples. The aim of this application is to extract proteins recognized by IgE antibodies from allergic patients. The challenge is to extract protein with the best possible quality. The Precellys Evolution extracts high quality proteins in large quantities from dry food samples. Adapted to any type of sample:

The high flexibility of the Precellys Evolution, which is capable of handling four sizes of tube (0.5, 2, 7 and 15 mL), makes it the perfect tool when processing samples of different sizes, weight or volume.

Precellys technology presents two main features:

1- The 8-figure 3D-motion (multi-directional) movement of the tubes. The same high level of energy given to the beads inside each tube ensures equal homogenization efficiency for all processed samples (up to 24 at once). Thanks to this complex movement, the Precellys Evolution can disrupt any type of sample (even the hardest) in seconds with perfect reproducibility while limiting heat generation.

2- The patented locking vacuum system of the tubes during the process. The Press’n block system saves time and energy. It makes it easier to handle equipment and secures the tubes before the grinding process.

Overview

Proteinase K is a nonspecific serine protease that hydrolyzes a variety of peptide bonds. This recombinant form of proteinase K is similar to the wild type, but with increased specificity and stability at room temperature (RT). Proteinase K is active on a wide range of temperatures and buffers with optimal activity between 15 and 75°C and pH between 4 and 11. Activity is stimulated with SDS, urea and EDTA buffers.

The AS X2 PLUS analytical balances guarantee simple and intuitive communication due to wide selection of widgets. The widgets can be freely configured in accordance with user needs.

Screen customization favours access to information and results directly from the home screen. The user can configure a complete set of buttons and assign it to a particular operation mode. He(she) can also define info and text fields.

SMARTLab
AS X2 PLUS balances are equipped with a SMARTLab system of an extensive functionality. It ensures support and supervision over the mass
measurement process and reduces hazard of error caused by so called „human factor”:

- Automatic adjustment

Regardless of external ambient conditions, the automatic internal adjustment system guarantees 100% efficiency in eliminating balance sensitivity deviations.

- ALIBI Memory

Data safety is assured with the ALIBI memory, which is integrated into AS X2 PLUS balances. The memory enables record of up to 500 000 weighings and guarantees continuity of data collection over a long period of time.

- Data Control

Accessing information in the balance depends on the user's permission level. The administrator can manage three different permission levels.

- Sensors

Touch-free operation and programmable sensors facilitate daily work and reduce the range of actions performed during the weighing procedure.

- Automatic Weighing Records

Reports on processes and partial weighings can be generated and sent for archiving via the USB to external devices.

- Wi-Fi®

Remote control of the balance via devices, operation of which is based on Android, IPhone, Windows10 systems.

Ambient Conditions Monitoring

Communication with RADWAG thermo-hygro-barometer allows monitoring of ambient conditions such as temperature and atmospheric humidity.

Databases
Information system of the AS X2 PLUS balances is based on 7 databases that enable operation of many users with numerous products, all the stored data can be subjected to analysis. Weighing data is recorded in 7 databases:

- Operators (max 100 entries),
- Products (max 5 000 entries),
- Weighings (max 50 000 entries),
- Packaging (max 100 entries)
- Formulations (max 100 entries),
- Customers (max 1000 entries),
- ALIBI memory (max 512 000 weighings).

Additionally it is possible to create formulation reports (max 500 reports).

Communication Interfaces
The functionality of AS X2 PLUS balances can be expanded using the following communication interfaces: USB-A, USB-B, RS 232, DB9 tara/print, Ethernet, Wi-Fi^®. The additional USB port located on the front of the balance enables easy and fast communication with the USB flash drive, it is possible to connect additional devices via this port too.

AS PLUS balances are equipped with Kensington Lock, which allows to secure the device against theft.

PS.R2 series balances represent a new standard of precision balances. They feature a new, readable LCD display which allows a clearer presentation of the weighing result. Besides, the display has a new text information line allowing to show additional messages and data, e.g. product name or tare value.

New PS.R2 balances, like previously designed PS series balances, have pans in two possible dimensions: 128x128 mm or 195x195 mm. Balances with a smaller pan have a draft shield. The balance precision and the measurement accuracy are assured by automatic internal adjustment, which takes into consideration temperature changes and time flow.

PS.R2 balances feature several communication interfaces: 2 x RS 232, type A USB, type B USB and optional Wireless Connection.

The balance may cooperate with computer by means of USB interface supposing a supplementary software has been installed (respective driver). The said driver may be downloaded from RADWAG website – SOFTWARE link or SUPPORT section.

The housing is made of plastic, and the pan is made of stainless steel.

The balances have a possibility to weigh products out of the pan (under-pan weighing) - the load hangs under the pan.

DATABASES IN R SERIES BALANCES

The information system is based on 5 databases, which allows for several users to work with several products databases, and the registered
