Our product provides a way to isolate apoptotic DNA fragments for DNA ladder analysis. The purification method used is much faster than other DNA purification methods (e.g., phenol/chloroform extraction, DNA precipitation). Purified DNA can be mixed directly with gel loading buffer and analyzed on an agarose gel.
Overview
The 1Kb plus DNA Ladder consists of 12 DNA fragments ranging from 1Kbp to 10Kbp (300, 500, 800, 1000, 1500, 2000, 3000, 4000, 5000, 6000, 8000, 10000bp). The 3000bp band has increased intensity to serve as a reference point. The fragments may be stained with intercalating agent (e.g. UniSafe Dye®) should be run on a 0.5-1% agarose gel for maximum visualization. It is suitable for use as molecular weight standards for agarose gel electrophoresis. The 1KB plus DNA Ladder already contains 1x Loading dye.
